Ok so i was misleaded, London's had the worlds most expensive public transports since 2007 when Ken Livingstone introduced the Oyster card, and the £4 tube fare (crazy).
BUT at the time, the bus fare was still 90p on your oyster card. Now it's £1.30. Right in the middle of a recession.
I guess coming from a guy that calls a 250K salary (on top of his earnings as Mayor) chickenfeed, it's hardly surprising.
However, as mayor of London, one would be expected to do something for the people of London.(and not just the ones in Kensington)
