To bake or not to bake.

Once I lived in a house for almost two whole years. I had a special bond with the kitchen and the garden. They were places of cult, so to speak. I used to bake a lot. Baking was my way of celebrating the times of joy, cleansing away the times of pain and recycling my depression into something sweet. If you bake enough you can never be bitter. And you always have something to share. One thing I noticed is food tastes better when the cook is happy. It's true. You just gotta mean it. So as a starter to this blog, something sweet, to bake or not to bake. Either way, with love.

To bake: The best Chocolate cake ever

200g of dark chocolate
200g of butter
250g of sugar
5 eggs
1 big spoon of flour

Melt butter & chocolate together in a pan.
Add the sugar and stir. Mix well.
Then leave the mix to cool down for a bit.
Add the eggs one by one, stirring each time while making as little bubbles as possible.
Add the flour.
Then 22 minutes in the oven at 190 and voila!

Not to bake: Ovenless Cheesecake.

Alas I cannot share my own recipes
I never measure anything...
